The Steady Scene – MusInk!!

The MusInk Festival is just days away!  It’s three days of tattoos, music, food, friends, and our favorite… Shopping!!  Make sure to stop by the Steady booth to check out some new styles.

Katie’s Retro Pick of the Week – The Fleur Di Lis!

In honor of the Mardi Gras celebration in New Orleans this week, I couldn’t resist highlighting some of my favorite Fleur-De-Lis embroidered men’s shirts.  Wearing one of these cool retro shirts might not guarantee you a free show, but you’ll still look good tossing beads, drinking beers, and having fun!

In stores now is the “Henry” shirt, available in basic black or chocolate brown.  This simple, light-weight button-down shirt has a cream tone panel on one side, and detailed pocket on the other.  Above the pocket seam are three perfectly placed Fleur-De-Lis.

 

One of our fave new shirts coming out this Summer is the Fluer Welt Stitch Shirt, on our new vintage-inspired “mirage” fabric.  It’s available in sage green or charcoal, and has panel stitching and a detailed Fleur-De-Lis embroidery.

Katie’s Retro Pick of the Week – New Summer Styles!

I had such a blast in Las Vegas this week, and am so excited about the new Spring/Summer Collection, that I can’t help but give you guys a little sneak peak of what’s coming this season!

Of course the first thing we think of for summer, and that we only bring out this one time a year, are our bathing suits!  For Summer 2012, we have two cute retro one-pieces, a sailor-inspired cover-up, and this fun baby blue two piece!  The halter top cinches in the center with a white bow, and the bottoms are rouched on the side and feature a white ruffle at the thigh.

The baby blue color also carries into our line of women’s dresses.  One of my favorite new styles this season is our Vintage Flower Dress, available in the light blue or basic black.  These flirty dresses are sleeveless and belted with a flower buckle.

Summer isn’t complete without a Tiki Party!  Our Atomic Tiki Wrap Dress is the perfect for sipping Mai Tais with your best friends.

And there’s lots of new westerns, tees, and retro shirts for the guys!  Our Steady Classics and Last Call lines are full of Tiki prints, Martini embroideries, and this new V8 Pinstripe Panel shirt!

The Steady Scene – Steady Takes Over Las Vegas!

The Steady Sales team is out in Las Vegas for the Magic Trade Show!  Our Spring/Summer 2012 collection features the usual assortment of cute knit tops, vintage-inspired dresses, men’s retro wear, tattoo tees, and new this season, a black lace petticoat to pair up with our swing dresses!  We also have a collection of one and two-piece bathing suits for those summer heat waves.

We also had a blast last night hanging out with our retail buyers, new and old friends, and some Las Vegas locals out at the Peppermill for our annual Magic After Party!

It’s also been another big week for our Drive Scorpion Jacket.  Our friends at Roadkill caught Captain Kirk himself out at an Oscar party and shot this video of him trying on the famous jacket!

Katie’s Retro Pic of the Week – Rock Steady Pencil Skirts

Another fave for Valentine’s Day is one of our sexy, hip-hugging pencil skirts.  Show off a little leg in any one of these sexy skirts!

Be bold in a red or teal Sarina Button Skirt.  It’s the great slim fit with black stripe detal, black fabric-covered buttons, and a high waist.  Pair it up with a black mesh Miss Fancy top for a sultry, sexy, Valentine’s Day look!

The Steady Scene – Steady’s Hittin’ the Road!

We’re loading up the trucks and heading out to Las Vegas this weekend to debut our Spring/Summer 2012 collections at the Magic Trade Show!  The lines look amazing, with tons of new dresses for the ladies, and a full collection of retro-inspired bowlers and button ups for the guys.  And our annual Party at the Peppermill for our retail buyers is back!

And right after we finish up in Vegas, the truck is headed out to Sacramento for the Autorama at the Cal Expo Fairgrounds.  If you’re in nor cal, come on out and check out some cool hot rods, do some shopping with Steady, and vote for your fave pin-ups!  Details are at RodShows.com.

It’s also been another big week for our “Drive” Scorpion Jacket!  Check out the The 2012 Oscar Nominees… of Style, courtesy of Esquire.com!

 

Our friends from Jimmy Knows Productions also has a 60 second recreation of the Drive film, featuring the Steady Jacket for Virgin Radio.  Check out and make sure to vote for his short!
